For those who want to add a Western touch to a wedding held in Japan, please check out this page. Each wedding favor, also known as "Doragees" introduced here is handmade.
Doragees are sugar coated almond nuts that Europeans hand out in various
feasting occasions. Almond nuts symbolize abundant crops as well as
blessed with offsprings.
A wedding doragee custom started when after a wedding, a bride cut up her
veil into strips and used them to wrap up doragees and gave out to each
wedding guest. Today wedding favors come in all kind of forms reflecting
couple's tastes and creativity.
Aoki USA, Inc. would like to introduce you handcrafted unique wedding
favors. Both of your names and the wedding date will be engraved in
colorfully waxed wedding favors. They will make wonderful souvenirs.
